Teignbridge League AGM Report

Last night (23rd January) a committee meeting was held by the Teignbridge League Short Mat Bowls Association at the Buckfast Community Centre. After the welcome & minutes read and treasures report the agenda asked for feedback from the Teignbridge Paris competition held back on October 29th 2016. It was seen as a great success with a very close finish for three teams. The format and organisation were also praised and hopefully this will continue for the Teignbridge Fours on Saturday 11th March 2017. Three points were raised under any other business. The Spring Fours to be held at Abbotskerswell on 22nd April will be confirmed in due course. A request from Trevor Tregillus (County area representative) to the league clubs to see if any of their would like to play in the Area Challenge at ISCA on 2nd April 2017 and also play in a Jurassic Challenge competition where 18 players are required. Date of the next meeting is Monday 24th April 2017.
